Come on out for a great mid-day concert at Lakeland College, as I join Director Dave Sterner and the Lakeland Civic Jazz Orchestra for their 100th anniversary tribute: A Centennial of Frank Sinatra! The Lakeland Civic Jazz Orchestra was organized in 1973, with Dave Sterner as Director since 2008. Besides performing at numerous venues thoughout Ohio, the Lakeland Civc Jazz Orchestra hosts the annual Lakeland Community College Jazz Festival. The festival is dedicated to the presentation of educational opportunities for aspiring student jazz musicians of high school and junior high school age. So, don't miss a great afternoon of Swingin' Sinatra with the Lakeland Civic Jazz Orchestra and yours truly!
