Come join me in a tribute to the songs and music of three GREAT artists: Vocalists Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday, and composer/musician Billy Strayhorn. All accompanied by the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra. And a real treat, I'll be sharing the stage with NY Songstress and Cleveland native, Vanessa Rubin! For 30 years, The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra has been Northeast Ohio’s premier jazz voice. The CJO promotes jazz in its historical and contemporary forms, through concerts with gifted jazz musicians, arrangers, composers and educators in northeast Ohio. The Hanna Theatre opened March 28, 1921, and would go on to host such stage and film luminaries as Al Jolson, Katherine Hepburn, Henry Fonda, Ethel Barrymore, Ginger Rogers, Helen Hayes, Mary Martin and Yul Brynner. It seats 550 and become the main performance base for Playhouse Square’s long-time constituent, Great Lakes Theater. Hope to see you there! Lou
